Savoury Mushroom Basil Sauce Risotto

SAVOURY MUSHROOM BASIL SAUCE RISOTTO

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of your choice in cooked rice, Arborio works lovely with this
  • 1 jar of Fresco Mushroom & Basil White Wine Sauce
  • handful of pea sprouts
  • 1 bell pepper finely julienned
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmigianino cheese

Preparation

Heat Fresco on low simmer. Place rice in shallow serving dish. Pour heated fresco over rice. Add julienned peppers and garnish with pea sprouts and Parmigianino cheese. 

NOTE: If you like snow pea’s add a few in for extra flavour, this easy recipe will have your guests thinking you slaved all day over a hot stove making it!
